Product Description
The Steel Ruler Water Level Meter produced by Henan Rancheng Machinery Co., Ltd. is a precision instrument designed for measuring water levels in wells, boreholes and pipelines, especially for groundwater monitoring in hydropower projects or earth dams. The instrument uses stainless steel cables (improved type), which are more durable than traditional copper cables and can work reliably even in low conductivity liquids.
The instrument consists of an underground component (water level tube and bottom cover) and a surface module (including probe, steel rule cable, receiver and reel). When the probe touches the water surface, it will provide synchronous feedback through sound signals, indicator lights and voltmeters to ensure the accuracy of the reading. The instrument is available in multiple models, covering a measurement depth of 30 to 500 meters with a repeatability of ±2 mm. It is powered by a 9-volt DC battery and comes with a simple maintenance manual to effectively extend its service life.
The instrument combines precision, adaptability and rugged design, making it ideal for construction and long-term safety monitoring.

the principle structure
1. The underground part of the equipment consists of a water level measuring tube and a bottom cover (sold separately).
2. Ground receiver: a steel ruler water level indicator, consisting of a probe, a steel ruler cable, a receiving system and a coil.
3. Probe: Made of stainless steel with built-in waterproof contacts. When the contacts reach the water surface, the receiving system starts. When the contacts leave the water surface, the receiving system shuts down.
4. Steel ruler cable: The steel ruler cable and the steel ruler are connected by plastic technology to prevent the steel ruler from rusting, simplify the operation process, and make the reading more convenient and accurate.
5. Receiving system: It consists of a speaker, annunciator and a peak annunciator. The buzzer emits a continuous sound signal, the indicator light turns on, and the voltmeter displays the peak value.
